The Hawks GOLD program will continue to monitor the status of the COVID-19 situation.  We will continue to assist the ongoing effort to minimize exposure by staying within the recommendations and restrictions of our government. Hawks GOLD had halted practices, games, workouts and any other program sponsored event on Thursday, March 12, 2020.

Since then, Governor Whitmer mandated that many venues (including sports facilities) close their doors starting at 3:00p on Monday 16, 2020. The decision to halt all HG events early, allows us some confidence that our conservative approach was both insightful and meaningful to the health of our members.

Until these mandates are lifted, we will remain in compliance with this mandate.  Which means, that HG members are not allowed to use the indoor facility, including private / individual use of the building.

We realize that this is both a scary and frustrating period with an uncertain immediate future.  However, HG is doing our part to contribute to the flattening the virus exposure curve by adhering to the mandate as communicated.

We will be initiating a deep cleaning effort at the building in preparation for the steps ahead, bringing baseball back to our members once the government mandate is lifted.

We wish all our members, members families, friends and loved ones good health during this period.
