GAME #1: HG10-Piesko 14 - Michigan Rebels 0
Dave Zilch pitched a complete game shutout, allowing 1 hit and recording 9 K's. The team racked up 17 hits in the game. Jake Johnson,Luke Whitney,Andrew Hiller, Braeden Chiles, Michael Pennala and Gavin Nash with 2 hits each. Ty Trahey with a double and Carson Raether having 3 hits while catching one runner on the bases.
GAME #2: HG10-Piesko 13 - Hitters Edge 1
Connor Rumohr went 3 innings, allowing 1 run off 1 hit and recording 4 K's Trrahey and Whitney both having 3 hits each and Hiller having 2 himself. Johnson, Chiles and Pennala each having a hit each. Pennala with 3 RBI's. Raether caught 1 runner stealing.
GAME #3: HG10-Piesko 6 - HBF Maroons / Easton 4
Connor Rumohr started the game and went 3 innings allowing 5 hits and 1 run while recording 3 K's. Gavin Nash went 1 inning while Trahey closed the game with 1 inning. Whitney had 2 hits, Hiller, Raether and Rumohr with a hit each. Raether threw out 2 runners stealing.
GAME #4: HG10-Piesko 14 - HBF Maroons 3
Gavin Nash started the game form the mound and went 3 innings, allowing 3 hits and a run while striking out 5 batters. Pennala closed the game with the save. HG had 14 hits in the game. Trahey, Chiles and Pennala with 2 hits each and Raether with 3 hits. Rather catching 3 runners on the bases.
GAME #5: HG10-Piesko 7 - South Coast Blues 1
Braeden Chiles started the game and went 5 innings (50 pitches) allowing 3 hits and 1 run. Nash closed the game with the save. Johnson, Whitney, Chiles and Demko with 2 hits each. Raether, Pennala and Rumohr with a hit each.
GAME #6: HG10-Piesko 11 - ATH 0
Chiles started the game and went 3 innings, striking out 5 and allowing no runs. Trahey closed the game allowing no hits and no runs. Trahey and Demko with 2 hits each. Johnson, Whitney, Chiles, Raether and Rumohr with one hits each.
HG10-Piesko won state championships in 2015 and in 2016 with one more State Championship tournament on the upcoming July 4th Game Day State tournament in Grand Rapids.
